My daughters have been a part of Huntington Beach Pop Warner Cheer Program for the past 9 years. I have noticed the maturity they have gained through these years and enthusiasm when talking about cheer with their school friends. Through HB Pop Warner, grades are a big part of the program. They have Little Scholars Programs which rewards the athletes for maintaining a high GPA at school. They are given either trophies or medals for their outstanding efforts. This motivates my daughters each year - they love it when they get the awards at Knott's Berry Farm Theatre. Cheer competitions and traveling is the best part of the program for my girls. The self-esteem that they have gained is priceless. The friendships they have acquired throughout the past 9 years have been very rewarding. The techniques that they have learned will help them earn a place with high school cheer teams. Cheer is their lives and they look forward to every practice and game! -Marlene W.

It all started when my son turned 6 years old and was ready to follow in his Dads footsteps, HBPWF was the way to go. I went to the field to sign him up and had my 10 year old daughter with us, she was recruited to be a part of the HB Jr. Pee Wee cheer squad. She had tried other sports, dance, soccer, gymnastics but nothing compared to what cheer leading has brought to her. She really fell in love with the sport, she has really learned the meaning of what being part of a team is, she has learned discipline, and has built awesome friendships, had many laughs and worked hard. We were blessed to have such fantastic coaches that really cared about the girls and devoted so much time to them so that they would succeed. During our first season with Pop Warner her squad made it all the way to Nationals in Las Vegas and came home with the best memories and 1st place Champions! She was so excited and couldn't wait till August to start cheering again. This past year she was a part of the Pee Wee squad, fantastic year again, she has really grown into being a great cheerleader and it has sparked her interest back into gymnastics where she has now mastered her round off back handspring and is super excited to use her skills in the upcoming season with HBPWF. -Kelly M.

This will be my our 7th year with Huntington Beach Pop Warner Cheer, my daughter started as Mighty Mite and this year she will be on our midget squad. This organization by far is the best in HB for cheerleaders, whether it be experience for high school or competitive cheer, these girls bring it.
